Bike the Burke Gilman and Sammamish trails to Woodinville's cluster of wineries and the Redhook Brewery. From the UW, it's about 32 miles round-trip — a full day adventure.

"Wheeling to winery country: A scenic ride with a fruitful stop"
On sunny weekends, bike racks jammed with wheels prove the popularity of this quintessential Northwest-style outing.

"Vintage Woodinville: Wonderful wines await you"
At least a dozen wineries now call Woodinville home and more are on the way.

Chateau Ste. Michelle
Start with wine tasting, tour the winery and then buy a bottle to sip as you relax on the grounds. Pack your own picnic food or buy snacks at the gift shop. During the summer, plan ahead and get tickets for the outdoor concert series.

Columbia Winery
In 1962, 10 friends began making wines in a Seattle garage. A weekend winery tour demonstrates they've come a long way.

Redhook Ale Brewery
Grab a pint and some pub grub. Enjoy live blues on Friday and Saturday nights and occasional outdoor movies during the summer.
