The selection of outdoor gear at the Seattle flagship store of REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.) is so vast that it can't really be measured by what the store has in stock, but by what they don't have. It's rare that you leave REI not having found what you were looking for for your hiking, biking or kayaking expedition, and rarer still that you escape without buying some camping gear or a new pair of hiking boots.
