This was a close contest filled with equally worthy competitors, but ultimately, you went with a classic. Fremont Classic Pizzeria & Trattoria has been serving up delicious Italian dishes in a cozy cottage-like setting for more than 15 years, and whether you're in the mood for pasta, pizza or pesto, the kitchen will do you right. True, the menu is filled with obvious crowd-pleasers — spaghetti and meatballs and the like — but its one thing to try to please the crowds, and quite another to succeed as Fremont Classic does.
