It's a Thai tie! While we have to admit that we get kind of burned out on Thai cuisine at times — seems like you can't drive through Fremont without taking some in by osmosis — these two restaurants are both good choices. We love Kawnjai's panang curry, and Jai Thai's youthful energy pleases us even when their kitchen doesn't.

However, are they the best Thai restaurants in town? It's tough to say, and honestly speaking, with so much Thai dining around Seattle — there's an endless list of runners-up in this category — we may never know whose Thai is tops.
