Elysian Brewing Company / Stumbling Monk Two Capitol Hill favorites tied in this very important category. As of this writing, there are a dozen beers on tap at the Elysian Brewing Company — many of them brewed under the same roof. The menu that accompanies those beers is loaded with savory delights — shredded pork tacos, veggie burgers and the "Hot Babe" pork sandwich. Meanwhile, at the Stumbling Monk, patrons are enjoying Belgian beers like Chimay and Hoegaarden in a smoke-free atmosphere. It's a tough choice, sure, but who says you have to visit only one establishment in an evening? Note: Not all of the winners in this category brew their own beers on premises. Some just have that relaxed brewpub vibe with lots of malt beverage choices.
