Lots of Seattle bars claim to have a "come as you are" atmosphere, but The People's Pub is one of the few we're aware of that actually means it. The vibe at this German bar couldn't be more relaxed and accepting if you owned the place yourself. It's terribly easy to spend several hours here, drinking magnificent German beers and mingling with the People's gloriously mixed crowd of rockabilly babes, PhDs, comic-book nerds, sports fanatics and tipsy journalists. And did we mention there's a shelf of board games? Um, there are board games. Hello!
