Here are the facts: Happy hour at The People's Pub lasts from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The drink specials are as follows: $2.50 for well drinks and pints of draft beer, and $3 for a glass of house wine. Appetizers are 50 percent off Monday through Thursday. Yes, the sun shines right in your eyes sometimes (the People's being one of very few bars with a view window), but the bartender will happily loan you a pair of sunglasses until the sun dips below the horizon. "Happy" isn't too strong a word for how you'll feel.
