Pick-up spot/place to be seen
Baltic Room The Baltic Room is a hell of a great place to drink and dance (it was voted "Favorite Place to Shake What Your Mama Gave Ya" in last year's People's Picks), but the area in which this swanky club really excels is as a meeting place for potential mates — you know, seeing, being seen, and being part of the scenery. The Baltic's crowd is young, well-dressed and willing, willing, willing. We're told that most people can leave the club with a phone number, while the very dedicated can leave with a phone book.
