East West Bookshop

We were surprised, to put it mildly, to see the Roosevelt bookshop win this category. That's not to say that East West isn't a good bookstore and the place to go if you need literature on a range of topics including alternative health, astrology, psychology, mysticism, vegetarianism and more. In fact, if you're at all interested in those topics, East West should be your first stop. It's just that we were positive that first runner-up Elliott Bay Book Co. would take this category, because it did last year.

It goes to show you that the future is never written in stone, until it becomes the past ... or something like that. Look, we're not up on our Eastern philosophy, OK? Maybe we should hit the bookstore and get clear on this.
