NWsource People's Picks 2006 is an opportunity for you to set trends and shape your city. Share your opinions about your favorite local places and people in over 100 different categories, from restaurants to entertainment, nightlife, shopping, services and more.

Voting takes place on NWsource between June 21 and July 30. Vote in each category once a day and a check box will show you which categories you have already voted in. Note: The site will not show you your individual votes from previous days.

On each category page, enter your vote into a text box, or choose from a random list of other readers' suggestions. You will be required to enter a code at the bottom of each page. This assures that the votes are cast by real people and not a computer program. Your vote will not show up immediately, but rest assured, we will count all valid votes.

If we can't recognize a vote as a legitimate entry, we reserve the right to discard it. NWsource further reserves the right to make final editorial decisions in cases of multiple ties. No special preference is given to advertisers or any business patronized by The Seattle Times Company. NWsource reserves the right to disqualify from the competition any businesses or individuals who attempt to unfairly influence the outcome.
