Bailey/Coy Books

Bailey Coy
JUSTIN DANIEL / NWSOURCE
Bailey/Coy ran a close race with last year's rather surprising winner, the East West Bookshop. We remain somewhat puzzled by all the fuss about East West's new age literature. But we definitely understand your affection for the intimate atmosphere at Bailey/Coy, where the staff leaves hand-written book recommendations throughout the shop. The Broadway Avenue bookstore is best known for its collection of gay and lesbian literature, and its location next door to decadent Dilettante makes it even more inviting.
