Your favorite Art gallery:
Roq La Rue
GEOFF CARTER / NWSOURCE
Since winning this category in last year's People's Picks, Kirsten Anderson has
moved her Belltown gallery literally next door to larger quarters -- but there
may be no space in Seattle large enough to fully encompass Roq La Rue's
ambitions. A showplace for works of "pop surrealism," Roq La Rue make a regular habit of
altering the way you see the world. You'll find works from the likes of Lori
Earley, Shag, Audrey Kawasaki and Mark Ryden hanging on Roq La Rue's walls, each
providing an enticing peek into a dark, sexy and flat-out bizarre world we
should be so lucky to live in.
