Last year, the Elysian shared this distinction with the Stumbling Monk, but this year, the Capitol Hill staple stands alone. The reasons for its continued success are many, but one stands above all: There are just over a dozen beers on tap at any given time, many of which are brewed under the same roof. The menu that accompanies those brews is loaded with savory delights: shredded pork tacos, vegan curry, steak frites and the "Hot Babe" pork sandwich. A well-deserved win.
