Another year, another win for the People's Pub in this category. Happy hour at this friendly Ballard joint lasts from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The drink specials are as follows: $2.50 for well drinks and pints of draft beer, and $3 for a glass of house wine. Appetizers are discounted, and there are daily drink specials throughout the week (we like Fridays, when "sour drinks" are $3). If the sun shines in your eyes (the Pub has a view window), the bartender will loan you a pair of sunglasses. Happy times, indeed.
