Your favorite Newspaper columnist:

Dan Savage (The Stranger)

Not surprisingly, Seattle's most widely-read columnist remains a reader favorite for a second year. It's not hard to see why: Few other columnists are as forthright in confronting their readership, and fewer still are so willing to go there -- even if that place of taboo is populated by fetishists whose practices even give Savage pause (we haven't seen it yet, but it's bound to happen sometime). Besides, more often than not, we agree with the advice he doles out to confused teenage girls and closeted jocks.
