Your favorite Dessert spot:

eats market café

West Seattle's eats -- the humble lower-case is correct -- is literally a labor of love for husband-and-wife chefs Evan Handler and Toby Matasar. Their seasonal menus have been called heavenly, but most of you seem to think eats' desserts are a sin worth indulging. Pastry chef Matasar whips up special confections on a daily basis that would tempt a saint and her bakery stalwarts (cinnamon raisin goo buns!) have laid low many a weight-watcher. The homemade chocolate chunk ice cream sandwiches may be the single best reason to cross the bridge.
