We take our mac 'n' cheese to heart 'round these parts. After all, it's not just food, it's an art form and Seattle is a city of artists. If the gourmet variations at Café Venus and Beecher's are variations on the Italian masters, the mac 'n' cheese at Mike's is pure Norman Rockwell. First of all, it's really macaroni (not penne pasta) baked in a thick, creamy blend of cheeses heavy on the Tillamook American cheddar and topped with a crust of herbed bread crumbs.
