Your favorite Sushi:
From the art-house décor and occasional ABBA tune to the Web site (www.sushiwhore.com) there's nothing conventional about Mashiko -- including its creator. Chef Hajime Sato's original idea was simple: a Japanese restaurant that transcended tradition without sending customers into debt. Oh yeah, the sushi's pretty terrific and diners are encouraged to ask questions. The idea's similar but the approach is altogether different at second place Blue C Sushi, where patrons pluck color-coded plates from a conveyer belt, Kaiten style. Less interactive but more kid-friendly.
