GEOFF CARTER / NWSOURCE
Salty's is a brunch place the way "Citizen Kane" is a movie: No matter what you think of it, hordes of people will tell you it's the finest ever, no question. "Even if they don't win, we know (and all of Seattle knows) which one is the best," one reader wrote. The perfectly muddled Bloody Marys might have contributed to Salty's third consecutive brunch win, but there's no discounting the unbelievable spread: Dungeness crab, shrimp, oysters, salmon, honey-glazed ham, Belgian waffles, crepes, eggs Benedict, kielbasa, scrambled eggs, bacon -- and on and on. Just writing about it makes us feel full.
