Downtown behemoth Wild Ginger put up a good fight, but in the end you went with small, scrappy Judy Fu's. Why? It wasn't just the Maple Leaf standby's endearing name. "Their jio-zi dumplings are delicious!" one reader gushed, joining that dish's massive fan club; another praised the salt-and-pepper squid. The handmade noodles, rolled and cut to order, have a big following, too, and the restaurant's cozy, family-friendly atmosphere may just have put it over the top.
