There are so many things that eats market cafe co-owner and pastry chef Toby Matasar does right with her daily changing baked goods. First, their names alone will have you saying "Mmm" -- pear ginger coffee cake, lavender cornmeal pound cake, toasted maple pecan pie. Second, Matasar serves them warm. MmmMMM. Third, they're displayed right up on the counter, not trapped behind some prohibitive glass like something you need to be special to have. And now they're selling them at Metropolitan Market, so they're easily available even if you don't live in West Seattle.
