Pamper your 'Retail Feet' at Ummelina International Day Spa

'Tis the season to multi-task – and take care of yourself at the same time. Plan your next downtown shopping expedition to include some well-deserved relaxation time, and get your shopping done while you're there.
Ummelina International Day Spa has an extensive list of spa treatments, but I recommend booking a Retail Feet appointment. Give your tired dogs a rest with a footbath, sea salt polish and foot massage ($60 for 45 minutes; add polish for $5 more). Afterward, pick up gifts from the spa's extensive selection of bath and body treatments and teas.
Owner Nina Ummel has created a well-balanced collection of aromatherapy products including all-natural aromatic mists, bath and body oils, bath salts, cleansing bars, salt glows and more. They come in carefully formulated essential oil combinations to stimulate, calm, enhance well-being and even increase your feelings of passion.
Some things we like:
1. Aromatic bath salts with a matching Essence bar ($24) - With lots of oils, plant lipids, herbs and shea butter, you'll have creamy smooth skin.
2. Sea Salt Glow ($25) - Rid yourself of those dead skin cells and leave your body feeling silky and sensual.
3. Lavender Harvest - This magical and medicinal herb works well in the aromatic mist spray ($15) or the hand and body moisturizer ($15 for 8 ounces), which has seaweed extract for deep hydration.
4. Tea for Two ($40) - A great hostess gift, it comes with your choice of organic herbal tea, teacups, bamboo tea filter and Balinese teaspoon.
Can't decide? Get a gift certificate for a spa treatment and present it with one of the fragrant Essence bars.
