Vain's resident makeup artist Christine Cherbonnier is offering the private lessons every Saturday in June. Valued at $40, the 30-minute tutorials are designed to help clients create new everyday looks to add to their beauty repertoire.

Cherbonnier, a MAC-trained makeup artist who also does work for the Seattle Opera, uses Nouba Cosmetics, which are also sold at Vain. The Italian line includes green tea-infused bronzers, foundation in 30 different shades and an artist-worthy palette of eyeliners and lip colors.

Cherbonnier will help you to achieve a specific look (smoky eyes and nude lips are the most requested) or simply provide advice on basic makeup application. So come armed with your most daring ideas (green eye shadow) or your deepest fears (eyelash curlers) and leave with a fresh look, plenty of tips and a chart and instructions for recreating your appearance at home.
