Rian Berry is a local artist who, along with his wife Julie, own Rian, a high-end men's accessories line.

The Rian collection includes messenger, travel, tote and duffle bags, as well as portfolios, wallets, card cases and wine cases. The line is carried by many of Seattle's most illustrious boutiques, including Marios and Bossi & Ich Ky.

Using his own art as inspiration, Berry has created a line of impeccably made bags, using fine leather, textile and metals. The Rian look is masculine refinement meets industrial street wear.

On Dec. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m., the Berrys will open Rian's SODO office at 1201 First Ave. S., to the public for a sample sale. So if you (or your guy) is into high-end bags at discounted prices, mark your calendar for this unique shopping event.
