Our inaugural post and a new arrival from Bump Urban Maternity
By Alison Brownrigg
NWsource shopping columnist
Hello and welcome to the first post of Minding the Store, a blog about shopping in Seattle. My name is Ali Brownrigg and I'm the shopping columnist here at NWsource.com. It's my job to keep you up to date on new stores, fabulous sales, interesting new products and exciting shopping related events. So if you like to be in the know and up to date on Seattle shopping, bookmark this blog, baby!
Speaking of babies… Bump, Seattle's coolest maternity boutique, is opening a new store at Bellevue Square on Aug. 23. Bump carries maternity clothes that are so cute you wish you could wear them long after the baby comes. It'll be nice to see an independent store succeed at Bel Square, so send all your pregnant Eastside friends Bump's way!
Also, Bump in Ravenna is announcing a new consignment section. In addition to their commitment to selling organic, local and sustainable designers, the owners of Bump recognize that recycling gently used clothing is a great way to be environmentally conscious. They're looking for stylish maternity clothes that are in near perfect condition. Call Nyro Murphy at 206.522.BUMP for an appointment.
If you have any shopping related news you'd like to share, email me at alisonbrownrigg@gmail.com.

Post a commentHowdy Alison! So glad you have hopped on the blogtrain! I have a favor to ask...I need help completing tracking down some vital parts to my wardrobe. I have a really strong feeling that neon Gecko shirts and acid wash jean-shorts are coming back...Even if they don't, I still want some!
Blackbird Tees is opening its first store tomorrow, Dec. 18, on 73rd and Linden in Greenlake. The sign on the glass says "Flock."
