It's been a few years since Fremont could righteously profess to be Seattle's funkiest neighborhood, but it does claim one of the city's edgiest apparel stores for men and women. Sadly, that boutique, Enexile, will close at the end of the month.
Owner Heather Koszyk is pulling up stakes and moving to Savannah, Ga. Her departure is certain to be bittersweet for fans of the eclectic Enexile, who, on the one hand, are sad to see it go, but on the other, are delighted with the closeout sale taking place through Halloween.
Find discounted women's apparel from headliner designers such as Anna Sui, Nicole Miller and Ella Moss, as well more offbeat selections from French Kitty, Sailor Jerry and Ruby Gloom. For men, there are togs from the likes of Ben Sherman and French Connection, and for your home, score markdowns on lamps, pillows and candles.
Enexile is at 611 N. 35th St.; 206-633-5771. Store hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
