Greenwood's Tweed chosen for national campaign featuring Stacy London

Greenwood boutique Tweed is one of 10 boutiques across the country chosen by Woolite and Stacy London of "What Not to Wear" to participate in a national Find the Look Keep the Look program, which aims to teach women easy tips and tricks to extend the life of their clothing.
A few months ago, Tweed owner Danielle Luartes flew to New York and met with London, who Luartes says spent time getting to know the boutique owners, is, "really cool and easy to talk to."
Each month, one boutique will get a place in the limelight; Tweed’s month is June. There are contests galore to enter, including a chance to win a personal shopping spree and consultation with Stacy, as well as tips on how to keep your clothes in good shape with Woolite brand laundry products. Visit the Find the Look Keep the Look Web site for more details.
According to Luartes, London chose the cities to highlight, as well as the trends and tips to include. She also chose the clothing for the boutique owners, putting Luartes in a casual baby-blue Gap trench coat for the look book, and in a racy red dress for their photo together. I would loved to have seen Luartes in something from Tweed, like an outfit from Lizzie Parker, but her trend was trench coats.
Other spring must-haves, according to London:
- Something exotic, like silk harem pants.
- Something chunky, like a necklace.
- Something from your boyfriend’s closet, like relaxed-fit jeans, a la Katie Holmes.
- Something neon, like a bag. (OK, this is starting to sound like my closet from 1987).
- Something pastel, like a dress.
- Something hollywood glam, like high-waisted pants or shorts.
- Something metallic, like a shoe.
- Something safari, like a jump suit or romper. (Really?)
I love you Stacy London, but I’m just not sure I can get on board with some of these trends. I’ll just have to trust you that when the weather turns spring-like here in Seattle, I’ll be inspired to don a safari jumpsuit. But that's doubtful. And I'm not even sure what a romper is...
