On April 11, Pravda Studios will celebrate independent film and fashion with 04.11.08, a fabulous party at their sleek Capitol Hill event space. In collaboration with Northwest Film Forum, the party will feature a fashion show, as well as food and drink from local caterers, breweries and distilleries.
Much more than just an event space, Pravda is a full-service video and photography studio at the corner of 10th Avenue and East Union Street. Pravda offers equipment rentals, editing services and one of the coolest freight elevators in the city.
At Friday night's party, the venue will be transformed into a showcase for local designers Jill Lindsey, Kimberly Baker and Sabrina Love, who will provide the runway fashion along with Seattle boutiques La Rousse, Rue, Lambs Ear and Blackbird.
Party guests will enjoy food from The City Catering Company, desserts from Gelatiamo, beverages from Dry Soda, spirits from Spokane-based Dry Fly distillery and microbrews from Red Hook. DJs SNAP KRAKKLE POP will provide the music.
The party starts at 6 p.m., and the runway show kicks off at 8. Come early to ensure your spot, as this free event is likely to fill up fast.
