Free your feet: Slip into a pair of affordable summer sandals

They've been buffed, trimmed and polished, and your pedicure-perfect feet are ready for summer. Even with the economy in a slump, you can slip into a pair of fashionable sandals without remorse. Here are a few of our favorites, all available locally for less than $60.

This sweetly ruched thong (also available in gold) is slightly reminiscent of Christian Louboutin's runway-featured Adona Flat Sandals -- but costs about $1,200 less. Thanks to Fred Meyer's frequent sales, you can probably get them for even less.

These exotically studded sandals conjure up a breezy stroll on a sandy beach.  Elegant Omega-loop curves are as at home with a pair of jeans as with a summer evening dress.  For simpler sophistication, try the solid shades of black and Caribbean blue.
