Local boutiques slash prices for spring “Upside-Down” sale

March 26, 2007

Eastside boutique

Manhattan

Spring is here, and that means out with the old and in with the new. This extends to your closet, too. Maybe you need a few new accessories, a couple of tops, some more shoes (who doesn’t need more?), and a sassy spring dress? If so, check out the "Eastside Upside-Down Sale." "Upside-down what?" you say. It’s a simple concept say the event’s organizers: Think savings "up" and prices "down."

Beginning on Saturday, March 31 and extending to Sunday, April 1, five local boutiques -- Manhattan, Promesse, Canopy Blue, Carmilia’s, and Posh on Main -- are cleaning out their stock rooms and slashing prices during this springtime sale.

Head to Kirkland’s Eagle’s Club (258 Central Way, Kirkland, Wash.) 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and choose from clothes by designers such as Diane von Furstenberg, Juicy Couture, Nanette Lepore, Theory, True Religion, 7 for all Mankind, and more. You can also score sale-priced shoes from Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, and other designers.
