Tickets go on sale June 1 for the Nordstrom Designer Preview, Seattle's premier annual glimpse into fall fashion. The show and shopping event take place July 22 at the Paramount Theatre, and all proceeds benefit the Seattle Art Museum Supporters.
The night kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception, followed by a New York-style runway show featuring a preview of upcoming fall fashions by top American and European designers.
In the past, the event has featured clothing from the collections of fashion giants such as Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Donna Karan and Michael Kors. Dessert will follow, along with a boutique-style opportunity for guests to peruse and purchase the garments seen on the runway.
Last year, the Nordstrom Designer Preview raised $180,000 to benefit SAMS, which has raised $4 million since its inception in 1985. Funds from the event help to support arts education, museum publications and exhibits, such as the recent Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Patron-level tickets are $175, which includes reserved seating, a Nordstrom Designer Preview gift, and entrance to the cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception and the dessert reception.
Connoisseur-level tickets are $350 and add preferred seating and complimentary valet parking. Runway-level tickets are $500 for preferred seating on the runway; premier runway tickets are $750 for the best seats available on the runway.
Grab a friend and treat yourself to a night of high fashion. For reservations, call the Seattle Art Museum at 206-645-3200 or visit seattleartmuseum.org/ndp.
