Gifts and floral arrangements blossom together at Willow & Bloom

At Willow & Bloom, a 520-square-foot gift and floral boutique in Fremont, you can effortlessly put together a housewarming, birthday or anniversary gift from beginning to end. With beautiful floral arrangements, chic and original gift items, cards and free gift wrapping, the shop offers everything you'll need to impress.

Miya Ferguson, creative director and owner of the shop, brings a great deal of expertise to the table. She has been working in floral design for more than a decade, refining her skills with courses at the Floral Design Institute and an apprenticeship under noted designer Mimi Lee.

Ferguson and her two-woman floral design team, who are experienced in both flower arranging and event production, can pull off everything from large-event and special-occasion design to purchases by the stem. All arrangements are custom-made, and designs are modern and sophisticated.

Among the buckets of fresh flowers and potted orchids at Willow & Bloom, which opened this past February just two doors down from Blue C Sushi, you'll find gifts galore. According to Ferguson, half of her customers come for the flowers, the other half for the gifts. "It seems like one day is all orders, and the next is all about the gift shop," she says. "I'm so glad we have both."

Featured items from local designers and artists include jewelry by Christa Hope, handbags by Diane Macrae, adorable knit baby accessories by Jennifer Keene and soy Rendezvous candles with subtle, evocative scents.
