With locations in Bellevue Square, University Village and Tukwila, Impress is helping to spread holiday cheer throughout the Puget Sound region with its lineup of seasonal DIY classes. Impress offers several classes per week, per location, that help students learn the fine art of rubber stamping, die-cutting, paper folding and more.
Highlights at the University Village store include Bags, Tags, Boxes and Wrap ($25) Nov. 20, which will assist pupils in creating unique gift packaging. The Nov. 28 Christmas Banner class ($30) will teach you how to create your own vintage-style Christmas sign to hang over your mantle. Both classes take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Take Ten Christmas class, Nov. 27 at the Bellevue Square store, will equip crafty types with 10 card ideas. The Bellevue store will also host two drop-in stamping classes Dec. 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 6:30 to 8 p.m. No experience is required, and registration is not necessary for these drop-in sessions, during which attendees will receive a 10 percent discount on purchases.
The Tukwila store will also host a drop-in day, complete with 10 percent discount, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. For a complete schedule of classes at all three locations, visit the Impress Web site. To R.S.V.P. for a specific class, call the store at which the class will be held.
