Catch a bargain on stylish dinnerware at Rosanna's annual warehouse sale

If you miss Rosanna Bowles' shop at University Village like I do, you'll be able to get your fix during her Sodo warehouse sale. The Dinnerware Designing Diva, as she's affectionately known, unloads her overstock of gorgeous goods each year at below-retail prices -- up to 75 percent off.
This year's sale is Friday, June 1, from 1 to 6 p.m., and Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rosanna dishes will be sold at wholesale prices. For example, a set of four plates is priced at $15 to $17.50; Halloween candy bowls are $5; large cake stands are $15; and teapots are $10 to $15.
Bowles is also an avid antique and vintage tchotchke collector, and she'll have some of her fabulous finds and treasures from Europe for sale, including furnishings, glassware and stationery. Get there early for dibs on the Parisian icebox circa 1890 ($3,000; perfect for linen storage), or a 14-foot Parisian monastery table ($10,000). Or save on hand-painted Deruta ceramics from Italy. The "Ricco" and "Rooster" patterns will be 30 percent off, with prices ranging from $20 to $250.
Bring cash—however, if your purchase totals more than $50, they will take Visa or Mastercard. Antique furniture ranges from $200 to $10,000 and can be picked up the following week. And, of course, go early for the best selection.
