Cafe Flora's vegan truffles are a dairy-free delicacy
The Madison Park restaurant's milkless chocolates come in four luscious flavors

My neighborhood brunch spot, Cafe Flora, holds a dear place in my heart because their vegan/gluten-free/vegetarian menu makes eating waffles or French toast feel more healthful than at other places. So imagine my delight when I heard that the Madison Valley restaurant is offering truffles for Valentine's Day.
Created by Cafe Flora pastry chef Marie Holtz, who makes amazing desserts sans eggs (the vegan sticky buns are heavenly), the truffles are completely vegan (dairy and animal product-free) and arrive in a lovely gift box made of recycled paper (natch). Each beribboned box ($7) holds four truffles with the following flavors: mint julep, orange cappuccino, ghost chili (purportedly the world's hottest chili) and hazelnut-scented nibby gianduja.
The truffles are available at Cafe Flora through Valentine's Day.
