If you are expecting a new babe or already have one in arms, you might want to check out the May 3 Greenpower Baby Shower Expo, which will be held at the Seattle Sheraton. This free one-day event will showcase 50 vendors that have been vetted to ensure their eco-sensitivity. Everything from cloth diapers to non-toxic toys will be showcased here, giving new parents a great chance to see a lot of items and services up close. The doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the first 300 people in the door will recieve free swag from Eco Bags.

If you have a mom-owned business or are thinking of starting one, you might want to check out the May 4 event held by Northwest Enterprising Moms at the Seattle Center Exhibition Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free event will introduce you to more than 25 local mom-owned businesses. A play area and craft workshops should make this a fun time for kids and parents alike. Plus, the first 150 attendees will get a free pair of BabyLegs.
