I'm fixated on my family's fall fashion needs. I’m working on my fall trend guide, so it's no surprise that I have cool weather clothing on my mind. Plus, I’m trying to figure out exactly what my little girl will agree to wear when sundresses are no longer appropriate. See yesterday's post for reference.
So, when I learned that Nordstrom will debut the Mini Boden children’s wear collection this week, my heart jumped for joy.
Boden is a British clothing brand for women and children known for blending classic silhouettes (like cardigans, raincoats, A-line skirts and boots) with bright colors and fun patterns. Since the climate in the Pacific Northwest is similar to that of the British Isles, Boden’s sensibility fits in perfectly here. Before partnering with Nordstom, Boden was only available to U.S. enthusiasts via mail order.
Part of my excitement over this retail match made in heaven is that my mom is a somewhat obsessive shopper who spends a lot of time looking through Boden catalogs, shopping at Nordstrom and shopping at Nordstrom for my daughter. Once she hears the news that Mini Boden is available at Nordstrom, all my foul weather wardrobe fears for my child will be solved.
