Post a commentKate's shop is in Hillman City -- 5609 Rainier Av S is Hillman City. We have a lot of neighborhoods in SE Seattle, if you are going to write about what is happening out here, it might be appropriate to familiarize yourself. Thanks!
Hi Denise,
Thank you for your comment. However, based on a press release from Kate Quinn Organics and a Seattle City Clerk's Office neighborhood map, we believe it is accurate to report that the new Kate Quinn Organics store at 5906 B Rainier Ave. S. is located in Columbia City.

Whatever...
That couldn't be more in Hillman City. The map might suggest other boundaries, but if you actually have been there, it's clearly in Hillman City. It's a good quarter mile up the road from Tutta Bella + the main Columbia City strip.
I'm with Denise...give Hillman City the credit it deserves on this one...now there's a neighborhood that could use a little love.
I'm with the them, this is Hillman City. What Denise was getting at, Monica, is that "you should familiarize yourself" a bit. That means: like actually going there before you report on it. Nice job at consulting a map, though. That's some real good reporting.
Both the map and Kate Quinn are wrong. This is Hillman City.
You folks in SE Seattle, Hillmam, Columbia City or wherever are brutal. Suggest spending some time volunteering at a local non-profit rather than hanging out on line attacking the press. However, if you insist on attacking the press let's focus on the suck ups in Washington DC.
