USA Baby

Special to NWsource
For someone who doesn't have children of his own, USA Baby/Child Space co-owner Essmat Barazi sure has the flair for making his baby-furniture store appealing to first-time parents. In the tastefully arranged and meticulously clean showroom, room-grouping displays complete with bedding, mobiles and toys rival any you'll find at the high-end furniture stores. With baby chic coordinated suites in colors like lemon meringue, soft sage and chocolate zebra, expectant parents can easily imagine their new bundle of joy slumbering in comfort and luxury.
Everything baby — except diapers and formula — can be purchased at this one-stop shop, but the emphasis is on furniture that grows as the child does. Cribs convert to love seats, toddler beds and full beds, and children can use the maple and pine dressers and gliders for many years to come. You'll find a large selection of quality name brands like Pali, Stanley, Flexa and Baby's Dream with prices to suit most any budget. Cribs begin at $229. USA Baby meets all competitors' prices and also offers financing, layaway and delivery/set up.
Treasure hunters won't want to miss the clearance center that takes up almost a fourth of the retail space at USA Baby. There, a Graco Snug Ride car seat sells for $79.99, while a Graco black-and-white gingham bassinet features a price tag of $99.99. You'll also find high chairs, tiny rockers, and strollers. Floor models, closeouts and discontinued items sell between 25 percent and 70 percent off the regular price.
Call or e-mail USA Baby to get on the mailing list and be notified of sales.
