There's plenty of room to play at Izilla Toys
Recently transplanted to Capitol Hill, the toy store has doubled its size and will soon carry books

Seattle parents who squeezed into Izilla Toys' cozy (read: crammed) former location in Madison Valley now have a lot more breathing room. The new location on Capitol Hill is twice the size but still carries the same quality playthings -- Kettler scooters, push toys from Selecta and board games from local company the Matter Group -- as the previous location. The popular gift-wrap station and complimentary cookies are there, too, and Izilla will add a book section this fall.
The store is celebrating its fourth anniversary this month, and through Sept. 15, parents will enjoy discounts on merchandise throughout the store. All year round, Izilla offers Allowance Days the last Sunday of each month, when kids receive a 15 percent discount on their purchases when spending their own money. The store also donates 10 percent of Allowance Days sales to Seattle charities.
Izilla Toys is at 1429 12th Ave., Suite D; 206-322-8697. Visit the store online at www.izillatoys.com.
