This month, Luly Yang, Seattle's queen of celebratory couture, will offer partygoers and brides-to-be two weekends' worth of opportunities to purchase her designs and other fashions at a discount. Both weekends, dresses from her eponymous collection will be discounted 30 to 50 percent from original prices ($3,000-$5,000).
On Jan. 5 and 6, Luly Yang gowns in sample sizes (mostly 2 through 8, with a few size 10s thrown in for good measure) will be sold at the Luly Yang Couture booth (#1620) at the Seattle Wedding Show, which takes place at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
The following weekend, Jan. 12 and 13, score savings on Luly Yang and other sample bridal gowns at the designer's downtown boutique. Appointments are encouraged for the sale and may be made by calling the Luly Yang Bridal Salon at 206-623-8200.
If those events aren't motivation enough to check out what Luly Yang has to offer, consider the designer's end-of-season sale. Jan. 7 through Feb. 2, enjoy up to 50 percent off evening gowns, resort wear, stilettos, cocktail dresses from Nicole Miller and Dina Bar-el, men's jackets from Ibiza and Torres and ties from Italo Ferretti.
