Spoil your pup with gourmet treats and 'BoneTox' from DuPaw's

If you have a special canine on your Christmas list, you'll want to know about a new line of gourmet dog treats from local caterer extraordinaire Lisa Dupar. Known for cooking up fabulous creations for humans (her client roster includes such notables as Martha Stewart, former president Bill Clinton and Microsoft), Dupar recently moved her operation to Redmond, where she continues her catering business and has opened the restaurant Pomegranate Bistro. Here you can dine on sugar-cane skewered grilled shrimp or a savory autumn veggie roast – and pick up a savory treat for your puppy, too.
Dupar, a life-long dog lover and owner of two dachshunds named Mia and Pela, had been baking gourmet dog cookies for years before a friend suggested that she share her creations with her customers' pooches. Now her line of dog treats, playfully dubbed "DuPaw's," are available for purchase at Pomegranate Bistro in two puppy-pleasing varieties: DuPaw's All-Natural Original Doggie Biscuits, $3.50 per bag (made with real peanut butter), and BoneTox: For Beautiful Doggies, $6 per bag (with chicken livers, great for keeping that coat shiny and warding off wrinkles, of course).
Created from scratch from top-notch, human-grade ingredients, you don't have to feel guilty about having a taste, too. Better yet, take a break from Christmas shopping and enjoy a pre-holiday meal at Pomegranate Bistro. Just remember to bring home a doggie bag.
