The city of Seattle just got a whole lot sweeter thanks to Michel and Valerie Brotman, owners of The Chocolate Box. This month, the Brotmans launch Tour de Chocolat, a two-and-a-half to three-hour tour of the best chocolate that Seattle has to offer.

OLYMPIA Now's the most interesting time to tour the state Capitol, while the Legislature is in session. Free tours are conducted daily.
After the scheduled March 14 adjournment, there's a deadline looming that has nothing to do with politics: the renovation of the historic domed building. When the session closes, workers will move in to overhaul the heating and ventilation systems, complete earthquake-proofing and finish repairing damage from last year's quake.
So go now. Except for large groups, you don't even need a reservation.
